Rollen en verantwoordelijkheden

The Business Analyst is responsible of all or part of the following :

•  Collect and analyse business requirements from all relevant stakeholders
•  Design and describe solutions corresponding to the requirements
•  Evaluate the impact of the proposed solution on the user process and the maintenance of the system
•  Coordinate his evolutions with the other Analysts looking for functional and technical dependencies
•  Get the approval of the relevant stakeholders on the proposed solutions and provide assistance to the stakeholders towards that goal
•  Provide assistance to the development team during the technical analysis phase and validates that the functional/technical specifications are in line with the proposed solution and the business requirements
•  Prepare and perform the testing of the solution once delivered by the development team and provide all necessary documentation (test plans on the ALM test tool, document the test results in PV’s, …) with the objective of checking that the delivered product works correctly and that it is in line with the proposed solution and the business requirements
•  Build his own individual planning based on all tasks in harmony with the Project Manager and taking into account other constraints (personal vacations or public holidays, other professional obligation such as team meetings, team or corporate events, administrative duties, …) and commit herself/himself toward the project manager regarding the delivery date of each task assigned
•  Communicate constantly with her/his Project Manager regarding any event impacting the global quality of the project including planning, change in scope, quality of the deliverable, new risks, …
•  Provide support to the Clients/Users during the change management phase or on daily basis as a second line support after production office
•  Explain changes/impacts to Production Office for them to be aware of what to expect in a certain release
•  Participate to the non-regression exercise under the supervision of the Release Manager as part of the process of delivery to production of a release
Non-essential Job Functions
Provide assistance to the Client/Users during the User qualification including a presentation of the business requirements and the proposed solution
Provide relevant and up-to-date documentation such as user guides
Evaluate the charge required for each task assigned
Participate to the closing support, among other by doing stand-by duty during the week-end or during the night (on average : 2 shifts per quarter)


Master in Finance, Computer sciences or Engineering or equivalent by experiencein a MOA (Maitrise d’oeuvrage) of a financial institution

Context van de missie

BMRC is the central system in charge of all activities linked to the computation of Credit Risk for the client. Several reportings are covered by the BMRC systems:

•  Credit risk under Basel III and Basel I;
•  Large exposures;
•  International Commitments;
•  Collective Provisions.
The main functions of the BMRC system are :
•  collecting, controlling, enriching/defaulting datasets and referentials;
•  performing consolidation and reconciliation processes;
•  calling the external calculator OPTIMA for calculation;
•  and then, packaging and sending results datasets to various clients.
Inside the Steering Center Credit Risk Reporting (SC CRS), the MOA BMRC is in charge of all evolutions and projects on the BMRC System in terms of business requirements, validation of technical specification and testing of delivered evolutions before delivery to production.
The Business Analyst is in charge of all the activities linked to such evolutions and projects.
