Rollen en verantwoordelijkheden

•  Taking on one or more projects once the requirements have been confirmed, being able to position it not just within his/her own Division but also within the Company
•  Representing the interests of all stakeholder divisions
•  Bringing the project or projects to satisfactory completion while observing rules for conducting projects defined between the Project Owner and Project Management
•  Complying with and making others comply with quality, cost and lead time terms and conditions set out in the deliverables contract drawn up between the Project Owner and Project Management
•  Taking responsibility for the project in terms of project ownership, monitoring and bringing it to a satisfactory conclusion for a project or a subsystem (team >8 people)

Principal responsibilities:
•  Identifying the various Project Ownership stakeholders, conducting and planning their work
•  Lead to guide and steer involved teams to deliver requested content.
•  Maturity to challenge business on listed requirement and to contain the scope.
•  Organizing and running project teams within the framework of rules laid down between the Project Owner and Project Management
•  Ensuring allocated budgets are adhered to
•  Detailing and formalizing functional requirements
•  Taking part in drawing up a financial assessment and taking responsibility for evaluating the counterparts
•  Writing or having others write functional instructions and validating them
•  Supervising and validating functional acceptance based on acceptance conditions which he/she will have defined
•  Taking part in defining trialing conditions, supervising this stage and -validate it
•  Preparing integration, supervising it and validating the final assessment
•  Supplying the Project Manager with information to enable him/her subsequently to draw up a financial assessment at the end of the project


Bachelor/Master or equivalent by experience

  • At least 8 years of experience
  • At least 3 - 4 years of experience of conducting projects in a functional and technical environment similar to that of the project
  • Is able to seek out information relevant to the project(s) from available documentation (in house and outside) and from qualified staff
  • Is able to manage a project, keeping within deadlines and costs while achieving the quality objectives laid down
  • Is familiar with the rules governing relationships between Project Owners and Project Management
  • Is familiar with the principles of Project Ownership in managing a project; is capable of applying them and having them complied with
  • Is familiar with the budgetary rules regarding projects
  • Is able to use office automation tools to present a project and ensure its follow up.
  • Is able to identify the users and decision-makers involved in a project
  • Is able to prepare and conduct working meetings with a view to effectiveness
  • Familiar with project management tools (MS Project, Office, Clarity, …)
  • Project leading, Information analysis, process analysis, functional analysis.
  • Experience application development projects

  • Preferable; Experience in managing IT projects in technical environments such as mainframe (Cobol) and Java
